Q-CODE Issuance

What is Q-CODE (Quarantine Information Pre-entry System)?

    • A method of undergoing quarantine screening using a QR code issued after entering health status via mobile or PC
    • A system established by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency to reduce the time required for quarantine screening upon entry into the Republic of Korea and improve the convenience of overseas travelers entering the country
  • Persons Required to Provide Information

    • Travelers entering the Republic of Korea who have visited (stayed in or transited through) designated quarantine management areas
    • Travelers entering the Republic of Korea who have visited (stayed in or transited through) designated quarantine management areas and have symptoms such as fever or cough

    • Those who have not obtained Q-CODE in advance can issue it at the quarantine area using a kiosk or tablet device.
  • Important Notices

    • Q-CODE quarantine information can be entered from 7 days before arrival in the Republic of Korea until before entry.
    • If you wish to modify the quarantine information entered in Q-CODE, please re-enter the information and obtain a new QR code.
    • If there are any changes to the quarantine information after entry, please inform the quarantine officer of the changes.
    • Please save or take a screenshot of the completed Q-CODE and present it to the quarantine officer during quarantine screening upon entry.
    • The validity of the Q-CODE quarantine information ends upon completion of the relevant entry inspection. If you later re-enter the Republic of Korea from overseas, please obtain and present a new Q-CODE.
    • Failure to declare health status or making a false declaration may result in an administrative fine of up to KRW 10 million pursuant to Articles 12 and 41 of the Quarantine Act.
